在对锥齿轮进行研齿的时候,要对侧隙进行控制,防止侧隙过小或过大所带来的一系列负面影响。齿轮副的侧隙就是齿轮副工作面接触时,非工作面之间的最小距离。侧隙过小或没有侧隙时,将会同时在轮齿的两齿面上进行研磨,产生不正确的研齿运动,并且出现噪音。如果研齿时齿轮副的侧隙过大,则将会产生齿顶边缘干涉。
