桃是深受消费者喜爱的夏令佳品之一。以其外观鲜艳、肉质细腻,营养丰富而著称,但因抗寒性差,一般在-26℃以下最低温度即发生冻害。又因果实柔软多汁,多集中在夏季成熟,易霉烂损失而影响其种植。为了提高桃的抗寒性,使桃的栽培界限向北推移,并能延迟桃果实的成熟期,满足淡季鲜食的需求,从而提高桃的利用价值,我们于1982年开始进行杂交选育抗寒、晚熟桃新品种的工作。
Peach is one of summer favorite by consumers.
