1999年5月25日,由中国美术家协会与日本中国水墨交流协会共同主办的“中日水墨画交流展”在炎黄艺术馆开幕。中国美协常务副主席刘大为、中国美协中国画艺委会主任姚有多、日中水墨交流协会会长高泽寅男(前众议院议员、日本社会党副委员长)与日本驻华大使馆公使吉泽裕等为展览剪彩。专程访华的日本水墨画家代表团与在京的国画家等约200人出席了开幕式并饶有兴趣地观看了展览。
On May 25, 1999, “Sino-Japanese Ink Paintings Exchange Exhibition” co-hosted by China Artists Association and Japan Chinese Ink Exchange Association opened at Yanhuang Art Museum. Liu Dawei, executive vice chairman of China Artists Association, Yao Youdu, director of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, Gao Zeyin, former chairman of the House of Representatives and vice chairman of Japan’s Socialist Party, Yu and so cut the ribbon for the exhibition. Approximately 200 people including a delegation of Japanese ink painters who made a special trip to China and other Chinese painters in Beijing attended the opening ceremony and watched the exhibition with great interest.
