谢希德教授是我国杰出的女物理学家,她主要从事半导体物理、表面物理的科学研究和教学工作。谢希德生于1921年, 她是福建省泉州市人。其父谢玉铭先生也是一位物理学家,曾任教于燕京大学,并先后担任过厦门大学理学院院长和教务长。她从小受到良好的教育,早在小学求学时,她就是一位品学兼优的学生,年年得第一名,后来尽管病魔绕身,长期卧床,还是顽强地学习,完成了大学的学业。1946年毕业于厦门大学数理系后即任上 Professor Xie Xide is an outstanding female physicist in our country. She is mainly engaged in scientific research and teaching of semiconductor physics and surface physics. Shehide was born in 1921, she is Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. His father, Mr. XIE Yu-ming, is also a physicist who taught at Yenching University and served as dean and dean of Xiamen University’s College of Science. Since childhood, she was well educated. As early as elementary school, she was a gifted student with a first-year ranking. Afterwards, she completed her studies despite her illness, prolonged bed-riddenness and tenacious study . After graduating from Department of Mathematics and Physics of Xiamen University in 1946, he took office
