GRE Exam: Participate in Written Test After Taking the Machine Test The ETS recently announced that from July 1, 2003, Chinese students taking the GRE General Test will take the form of computer-based examinations. Among them, GRE analytical writing examination part will take the form of computerized examination, language and mathematics examination part is still conducted in the form of a test. Based on this change, candidates must take the mechanical and language and math sections of the GRE Analytical Writing session during the same exam year, and must first take part in the machine-test of the analytical writing section. The U.S. Education Examination Service Center will hold two written exams during the 2003-2004 exam year. Candidates may choose one of these exams.
