针对中子残余应力测量的需要,开发研制了低灵敏度3He计数管,主要功能是标定中子光路第1狭缝的中心及姿态及确定样品边界精确位置。另外,在实验过程中兼作监视器用来监视束流质量。该计数管的制备难点在于如何确定工作气体的配比和充气气压,解决途径是选取一较大体积的容器做气体混合配比试验,微调各气体成分并控制气压值范围,在大容器中完成气体配比后,再用此大容器向计数管内部充气。具体指标测试结果如下:1)活性区尺寸:φ50mm×100mm。2)坪区:1300~1400V,坪长100V,坪斜8.2%/100V。
