茶艺课是酒店专业的一门非主科专业课,但却是一门极其重要的课程。它是集中国传统文化、茶文化、茶技、茶艺、美学于一体的学科,对学生综合素质的提升很有帮助。从中职酒店专业就业形势来看,家长和学生对毕业生从事餐饮服务、酒店服务的工作表现出日趋冷淡的态度,而毕业以后成为一名茶艺师,从事与茶相关的工作,即轻松又体面,受到学生和家长的认可。在信息化技术运用日趋成熟的今天,如何根据学生的认知特点、茶艺特点和茶艺课的教学目标,改革教学方式、提升教学效率、提高教学质量,是茶艺课教师需要思考的问题。
