由动脉粥样硬化引起的心脑血管疾病是当前危害人类健康的头号杀手。近年 ,愈来愈多的研究结果表明 ,低密度脂蛋白被氧化修饰是其导致动脉粥样硬化的重要原因。因此寻找有效地抑制低密度脂蛋白发生氧化修饰的药物 ,对于动脉粥样硬化的防治是有重要意义的。自从发现丙丁酚是通过抗低密度脂蛋白氧化修饰而发挥抗动脉粥样硬化的作用以来 ,利用抗氧化剂防治动脉粥样硬化的研究取得了很大进展 ,近期的研究重点已转向临床。本文就这方面的工作给以综述。
Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases caused by atherosclerosis are the number one killers currently endangering human health. In recent years, more and more studies have shown that the oxidative modification of LDL is an important cause of atherosclerosis. Therefore, looking for drugs that effectively inhibit the oxidative modification of LDL are of great significance for the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. Since the discovery of probucol has been shown to be anti-atherogenic by anti-LDL modification, great progress has been made in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis with antioxidants. Recent research has shifted to clinical trials. This article gives an overview of the work in this area.
