In accordance with the State Council’s “Notice on Establishing a Poverty Alleviation and Coordination Relationship between Zhuhai Municipality and Chongqing Municipality”, in early 2002, Zhuhai Municipality and Chongqing Municipality formally established a cooperative relationship in alleviating poverty. Zhuhai municipal party committee and municipal government attach great importance to helping Chongqing work. Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee held a number of party committees to study and deploy the work of helping Chongqing.
