油画作为外来画种在我国经历了一个曲折复杂的接受过程,至当代已经完全成为自为的民族艺术,油画的“接受”业已完成,且当代中国油画表现出很强的文化自觉和深刻的民族性。“油画民族化”提法是在油画民族化进程中旨在“接受”的阶段性命题,于当代继续持论“油画民族化”的意义值得商榷。本文将通过对油画民族化进程和当代油画局面的关照来质疑“油画民族化”提法在当代的意义。
