自1970年以来,在世界范围内掀起了剪切带研究的热潮。J.G.Ramsay 和 R.H.Graham(1970)基于宽仅几十厘米的剪切带而建立起的应变、位移测量方法,在造山带、前寒武地块的大规模韧性变形带中得到了广泛的应用。事实证明,剪切带的研究对于了解造山带的形成机制、基底与盖层的关系、探索前寒武地壳构造的演化历史、建立合理的地层层序等都具有重要的意义。
Since 1970, there has been a worldwide upsurge of shear band research. Strain and displacement measurements established by J.G. Ramsay and R.H. Graham (1970) based on a shear band width of only tens of centimeters have found wide application in large-scale ductile deformation zones in orogenic or pre-Cambrian blocks. It has been proved that the study of shear zone is of great significance to understand the formation mechanism of orogenic belt, the relationship between basement and overburden, the evolutionary history of the Precambrian crustal structure and the establishment of reasonable stratigraphic sequence.
