前不久TI3失败,都说中国战队参赛太少。如今WPC、G联赛、D2L、DLA等纷至沓来,幸福来的很突然,让国内DOTA2战队有些措手不及。这背后还有一个小插曲。WPC主赞助商曾宣布,在WPC期间,ACE旗下战队不允许参加别的比赛!从赞助角度讲,独家垄断的做法无可厚非。对赞助商来说,最好是做NBA模式,把联赛品牌做起来,提升联赛价值和广告价值。你能想象NBA派出一支球队参加CBA联赛吗?都说物以稀为贵,天天看iG和DK的比赛,就体现不出他们的商业价值。但这种思考背后的逻辑有些片面。
Not long ago TI3 failed, said the Chinese team too little competition. Now WPC, G League, D2L, DLA and so on, happiness came suddenly, so that the domestic DOTA2 team caught by surprise. There is another episode behind this. The WPC Main Sponsor has announced that during the WPC, ACE’s clan is not permitted to play other matches! From a sponsorship perspective, the exclusive monopoly is understandable. For sponsors, it is best to do NBA mode, the league brand to do to enhance the league value and advertising value. Can you imagine the NBA sent a team to participate in the CBA league? Say that the scarcity of expensive, every day to see iG and DK competition, they can not reflect their commercial value. But the logic behind this thinking is somewhat one-sided.
