The existing fire-fighting facilities in Baosteel Plant have been built for about 30 years and are mostly cast iron pipes (high strength and poor toughness). Most of them have been aged after many years of use. Fire-fighting pipes often break during the construction and the fire protection valves can not be completely shut down , Repair construction is very difficult. If according to normal practice, the water needs to be completely cut off, it is bound to excavate the underground valve area, resulting in environmental damage, resulting in a higher repair costs. Through the improvement of the traditional cast iron fire-fighting pipeline repairing technology, the technical problems that the residual water in the pipeline can not be completely cut off and can not be repaired are well solved, and the cast-iron pipeline repair construction will be popularized and applied.
