两千多年来,中国南境有一条连接滇藏、沟通域外的陆地干道———茶马古道。它穿越横断山脉,沿“三江”而上可至西亚,沿“三江”而下可至东南亚。茶马古道地势险峻,行路之难举世罕见。马帮终年奔走其间,驮运茶、盐、粮食。纪录片《德拉姆》纪录了茶马古道怒江流域段马帮的生活,展示了从云南西北小镇丙中洛(藏语,意为“藏人的村庄”)到西藏东南小镇察瓦龙(藏语,意为“干热的河谷”)的九十多公里景观,介绍了11位当地人的命运。“德拉姆”是藏语“平安女神”之意。是片中的赶马人正多给自己一匹骡子起的名字。
For more than two thousand years, there has been a link between Yunnan and Tibet in the southern boundary of China, and the ancient tea horse road, a trunk road outside the communication area. It cross the Hengduan Mountains, along the “Sanjiang” and up to West Asia, along the “Sanjiang” and down to Southeast Asia. Ancient Tea Horse Road terrain steep, difficult road to the world rare. Caravan running throughout the year, pack tea, salt, food. The documentary “Durham” records the life of the caravan at the section of the Nujiang River in the Ancient Tea Horse Road Trail showing how far from C Zhongluo (Tibetan, meaning “Tibetan village”) in the northwestern town of Yunnan to Tsavon Long (Tibetan , Meaning “dry and hot valley”), introduced the fate of 11 locals. “Durham” is the Tibetan “safe goddess” meaning. It is the name of the horseman in the film giving himself a mule.
