In ancient China, military achievements were impressive and military writings were rich and varied. However, most of them were the products of the cold weapon era. In the late nineteenth century, they had shown the flaws and limitations that they could not meet the changes in the social era. Some people of insight have noticed this issue, so they think it is necessary to introduce and study the ’new law essence’ in various countries and create a new military doctrine so as to adapt to the transitional era.
