在现行的音乐教学大纲中,明确阐明了小学音乐教学的内容包括唱歌、唱游、器乐、欣赏、识谱知识和视唱听音五项,初中音乐教学的内容包括唱歌、器乐、欣赏、基本乐理和视唱练耳四项,高中音乐教学主要是音乐欣赏。在义务教育音乐课程标准中,关于器乐的教学都是与唱歌、欣赏、创造等教学内容融合在一起的,选用的课堂乐器多是打击乐器和竖笛、口琴、口风琴等吹奏乐器,因地制宜,易于学习演奏、便于集体教学,而且对于学生演奏的教学要求也低于演唱。器乐演奏是音乐教育中一项重要的内容,它对于激发学生学习音乐的兴趣,提高对音乐的理解、表达和创造能力都有着非常重要的作用,应该加强重视。
