近几年,各地报刊、电视对少数聋哑人违法犯罪、团伙作案报道较多,令人惊诧,也使一些不明真相的人对聋哑人产生了误解。其实,有不少聋哑人在不同的工作岗位上默默无闻地做出了不平凡的业绩,使他们身边的健全人也为之叹服。更有一些聋哑人,以高尚的共产主义情操、见义勇为的英雄事迹传颂于一方,本刊已报道过的28次无偿献血的潘成贵和这次报道的甘洒热血斗歹徒的孟繁州,就是这样的人。要讲正气,树立英模形象。今后,我们要加强正面宣传的力度,尤其是对那些满怀正义,见义勇为,道德情操高尚的聋哑人的先进事迹,要突出报道,希望各级残联、聋人协会和热心聋人工作的读者、作者积极提供这方面的线索和稿件,协助我们做好这一工作。
