不久前,发生在陕西的“枪下留人”案被媒体炒得沸沸扬扬。一个律师为一名死刑犯所付出的大量心血和其间多个惊险精彩的情节给人们以刻骨铭心的印象。但,“枪下留人”令下达130天后此案罪犯董伟最终伏法。由此而衍生的讨论与思考却并未尘埃落定,它们超越案件本身,步入了针对死刑案件复核程序和死刑在中国适用的深度。在与江西省社科院法学研究所教授、副所长,著名的死刑辩护专家李云龙谈及这个案件时,他说———在我所辩护过的死刑案件中这些早已司空见惯。他先后办理的18件死刑案件中,最终有14人死里逃生,有的改判为死缓、无期或有期徒刑,有的已经重返社会。李云龙研究死刑、为死刑犯辩护的事迹,《中国新闻周刊》于2001年7月23日以“李云龙为死刑犯辩护”为题对他进行了报道。著名德国媒体《时代周报》2002年5月29日以三大版面对其也进行了长篇报道,在国内外产生了很大的影响。
