La0.95Ca0.05F2.95 polycrystailine solid electrolyte tube was prepared. The Lasensor was made by using such solid electrolyte tube, pure La as reference electrode andMo wire as lead wire. the cell can be experssed as:The activities of dissolved La in liquld (750℃) aluminum with three different La concen-trations were deterndned. The change of La activity and po2 with temperatuxe in thesolidfication process (750-500℃) was also deterndned, the result showed some regulari-ties ekisted. In the course of rising and falling of temPeratuxe the La probe can be usedrepeatly 2-3 times.
