用无槽丝锥(图1)加工螺纹,是靠无切屑的冷挤压成形法实现的。丝锥是由前锥部分l_1,校正部分l_2和尾柄l_3所组成,并且在工作部分全长上螺纹的齿形均是完整的。在丝锥上没有排屑槽,而其横截面的轮廓由各种不同的曲线构成。横截面的形状应该为材料的塑性变形创造最有利的条件,并且能保证获得高质量的螺纹表面。为使丝锥具有良好的经受扭矩的工作条件,必须使其外廓曲线具有相同符号的曲率,也就是说不能有凹形部分。
The machining of the thread with a slotless tap (fig. 1) is achieved by the cold-extrusion without chip formation. The tap is made up of the front taper part l_1, the correction part l_2 and the tail handle l_3, and the tooth profile of the screw thread is intact over the entire length of the working part. There are no flutes on the tap, and the outline of the cross section is made up of a variety of different curves. The shape of the cross-section should create the most favorable conditions for the plastic deformation of the material and guarantee a high quality thread surface. In order for the tap to have good torque-proof operating conditions, it is necessary to have its profile curve have the same sign of curvature, that is to say can not have a concave part.
