现在铁路部门为了检验结构件的完好程度而进行超声波探伤或磁粉探伤之类的非破坏性检查。因为必须对被检零部件进行预处理,所以,这些检查方法的作业效率非常低。如果将能进行非接触探伤的电磁超声波探头(EMAT)用于这些检查,则预期可以显著提高作业效率。本文在说明EMAT原理的同时,介绍了用于铁道部门的部分研究成果。

If electromagnetic ultrasonic probes (EMAT) capable of non-contact inspection are used for these inspections, it is expected that the work efficiency will be significantly improved. This article describes the EMAT principles at the same time, introduced some of the research results for the railway sector.
