上海文艺出版社2016年版当赫布兰德·巴克的《上面很安静》获得国际IMPAC都柏林文学奖时,一个自信、成熟的新声音出现在欧洲小说界。文学大师库切以“克制的细腻和精炼的幽默”赞赏它,人们说它把蓝天下大自然的宁静悠远和主人公淡淡的忧伤落寞刻画得楚楚动人。而这所有的特点也无疑地再次落实到了这部《绕路而行》,甚至有过之而无不及。二○一三年,《绕路而行》获得英国《独立报》外国小说奖。
