Taking a risk on Macaos thriving gaming business, Las Vegas Sands Corp (LVS) plans to build up a resort just across from the Special Administrative Region on Zhuhais Hengqin Island, to cater to the increasing number of tourists. The United States-based developer of casinos and resorts expects to spend US$15 billion to set up a business and residential complex on the island, LVS Chairman Sheldon Adelson said.
