“‘水墨形相’人物画作品展(二)”是两年前在中国美术馆举办的题为“‘水墨形相’中国艺术研究院水墨人物画创作研究班作品展”的延续。说到这个班要追溯到好几年前,当时中国艺术研究院院长王文章问我,有没有可能培养几位能够画大画的实力派的青年画家,同时把人物画的研究课题更深入一步。我由于一是公务繁忙,二是人物画,尤其是当代人物画这个课题过于沉重,其在现当代的发展中遭遇了很多问题,所以我很犹豫。后来经过一批青年画家的再三相邀,勉为其难地答应了他们的请求,在中国艺术研究院的研究生院和张晓凌教授共同组建了一个以创作带基础的人物画创作研究班。 “’Ink Painting’ portrait painting exhibition (2) ” is a continuation of the exhibition “Exhibition of Ink Painting” of Chinese Academy of Arts two years ago at the China Art Museum. After a group of young painters invited again and again, reluctantly agreed to their request, at the China Academy of Arts graduate school and Professor Zhang Xiaoling co-founded a creation with foundation-based figure painting research class.
