马克思把劳动分工与社会发展史结合在一起进行研究,指出劳动分工既能促进劳动生产率的提高和生产力的进步,也能产生阶级和社会不平等。安德烈·高兹把对劳动分工的批判延伸至对资本主义科技、教育的批判,指出资本主义的劳动分工是一种统治关系、等级关系,造成了社会不平等。劳动分工与社会公平有着紧密的联系。马克思和安德烈·高兹的劳动分工理论启示中国,要促进社会公平,既要充分发挥劳动分工的积极作用,又要建立公平的教育、社会保障体系,消除劳动分工的消极影响。
