目的:研究鼻咽癌组织EB病毒LMP1与TRAF1(tumornecrosisfactorreceptorassociatedfactor1)表达的关系,以探讨LMP1可能促进TRAF1表达的作用。方法:应用LMP1和TRAF1抗体对30例鼻咽癌和12例慢性炎症鼻咽粘膜石蜡标本,以SP免疫组织化学技术检测LMP1及TRAF1的表达。结果:30例鼻咽癌中16例是LMP1阳性(53.3%),17例TRAF1阳性(56.7%)。其中16例LMP1阳性中,TRAF1表达阳性为14例(87.5%),TRAF1阴性为2例(12.5%),两者差异具有显著性(P<0.01)。30例鼻咽癌中有5例带有癌旁上皮,其中3例癌旁上皮LMP1及TRAF1均表达阳性;1例LMP1阳性,TRAF1表达阴性;1例LMP1与TRAF1均表达阴性。而12例慢性炎症鼻咽粘膜LMP1及TRAF1均无表达。结论:鼻咽癌组织中LMP1阳性者有较高的TRAF1表达,可能由于LMP1的表达促进了TRAF1表达。
Objective: To investigate the relationship between EBV LMP1 expression and TRAF1 (tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 1) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) to explore the role of LMP1 in promoting the expression of TRAF1. Methods: LMP1 and TRAF1 antibodies were used to detect the expression of LMP1 and TRAF1 in 30 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma and 12 cases of chronic inflammatory nasopharyngeal mucosa paraffin-embedded specimens by SP immunohistochemistry. Results: Of the 30 NPC cases, 16 were LMP1 positive (53.3%) and 17 were TRAF1 positive (56.7%). Among 16 cases of LMP1 positive, TRAF1 expression was found in 14 cases (87.5%), TRAF1 negative in 2 cases (12.5%), the difference was significant (P <0.01). Five of the 30 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma had paracancer epithelium, of which 3 cases had positive expression of LMP1 and TRAF1, 1 case of LMP1 was positive and TRAF1 was negative, while 1 case of LMP1 and TRAF1 was negative. However, no expression was found in 12 chronic inflammatory nasopharyngeal mucosa LMP1 and TRAF1. CONCLUSIONS: LMP1-positive NPC patients have higher TRAF1 expression, which may be due to the expression of LMP1.
