从《跨海》系列的六幅作品到《跨越》系列,都是有感于宁波的社会发展所取得的成就,并将其付诸于宽广辽阔的大场景式画面上。作品在形式美感的追求上不断求精求变,在图式和形式语言获得了独特的视觉效果,同时在题材内容与表现技法上也获得了较好的统一。这里所谓的形式美,是通过直线、横线、放射线、交叉形块、透视等方式对画面物象、空间进行分割、组合,用线条构成的一种块面空间为形式的秩序美。
