本文从分析现阶段理工科专业翻译教学现状入手,结合理工科学生在大学英语学习上的特点,试图探索一条适合理工科专业实际情况的翻译教学之路。由此,提出理工科专业的翻译选修课应该有适合学生特点的培养目标、教材及教学模式,以培养学生学习兴趣,切实提高学生的翻译基本功和人文素养。
This article begins with the analysis of the current status of translation teaching in science and engineering, and tries to explore a suitable translation teaching method suitable for science and engineering majors based on the characteristics of science and engineering students in college English learning. Therefore, it is suggested that there should be training objectives, textbooks and teaching modes suitable for students’ characteristics in order to cultivate students’ interest in learning and improve students’ basic skills and humanistic accomplishment in translation.
