固氮兰藻是低等藻类植物,能固定空气中的分子态氮转化为作物能利用的铵态氮。国外四十年代即有不少人从事固氮兰藻分离、藻种培养及其对水稻肥效的研究,证明固氮兰藻可以用作肥料,但因藻种的大量生产等问题未能解决,在生产中尚未广泛使用。我所从1958年开始兰藻研究工作。近几年又与湖北省蕲春县科委、咸宁地区科委协作,初步解决了固氮兰藻藻种大量生产问题,1976年在上千亩晚稻大田、1977年在上万亩晚稻大田放藻试验成功;在晚稻田每亩接种鲜藻50斤,5—7天可繁殖1,000—1,700斤鲜藻,提
Nitrogen-fixing blue algae are low-grade algae that convert the molecular nitrogen in the air into ammonium that crops can use.
