最近一段时间以来,党中央领导集体特别强调,要从“三贴近”入手来切实改进和加强宣传思想工作。这是对宣传思想工作提出的新要求。中央带头示范并采取了改进领导人活动与会议报道的具体措施,得到广大人民群众的拥护与欢迎。中央领导同志还强调,坚持“三贴近”要落实到各项工作中去。因此,“三贴近”同时也是对出版工作提出的要求,“三贴近”指的是贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近群众。对于出版工作者来说,努力实践“三贴近”具有重要的意义。
