知识经济的风一吹,家电产品生产方式也随着新概念的引入发生了转变。现在最时髦的生产方式要算OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer)了。OEM,本刊在前几期杂志里已做了一些探讨,说白了就是不用直接生产产品,而是自己掌握“关键的核心技术”、负责设计和开发、控制销售“渠道”,具体的加工任务,交给别人去做好了。这种方式历史悠久,工业化国家里的大企业,不少都这么做。OEM又俗称“定牌生产”或“贴牌加工”,它是企业间互相寻找各自优势的一种市场规则,既能降低成本,又能提高品牌附加值。
With the wind of knowledge economy, the production methods of home appliances have also changed with the introduction of new concepts. The most fashionable production method now is the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). OEM, the magazine has done some research in previous magazines. To put it plainly, it is not to directly produce products, but to master “critical core technologies”, to design and develop, to control sales “channels”, and to perform specific tasks. Give it to others to do it. This method has a long history and many companies in the industrialized countries do so. OEM is also commonly referred to as “defining brand production” or “OEM processing”. It is a market rule for companies to find each other’s advantages. It can both reduce costs and increase brand value.
