山东省日照县的广大贫下中农和社员群众,在县委的统一领导下,以路线为纲,从生产出发,从积肥入手,积极开展了以除害灭病为中心的爱国卫生运动。他们根据就地取材、因陋就简、讲求实效的原则,经十几年努力,有效地改变了农村卫生面貌,肠道传染病的发病率明显下降,劳动生产率不断提高,农业生产连续十年获得丰收。1971年全县粮食平均亩产跨过了《纲要》规定的指标,1972年全县粮食平均亩产超过610斤。
