芡实具有滋养强壮、补中益气、开胃止渴、固 肾养精等作用。如将芡实与瘦肉或牛肉共煮,不但 味道鲜美,也是适时补品。民间有用芡实60克,加 入适量红糖合成大补汤,具有易消化、营养高的特 点。能调补脾胃、益气养血,对体虚者、脾胃虚弱的 产妇、贫血者、气短者有良好疗效。若平时消化不 好,或热天出汗多又易腹泻者,经常用芡实煮粥, 或煮红糖水吃有很好效果。若用芡实与瘦肉同炖, 对解除神经痛、头痛、关节痛、腰腿痛等虚弱症状, 有很大好处。
