11 储能制动储能制动是一种古老的制动技术。储能制动顾名思义是将能量预先贮存起来,当需要制动时进行释放。储能制动目前多采用弹簧储能方式,故又称弹簧制动。早在1853年未发明空气制动机之前,库雷玛氏就发明了弹簧制动器,其方法是在车体后部的制动杠杆上装有螺旋弹簧,在列车开始运转之前,将制动杠杆上的弹簧压缩,制动时司机利用绳索释放弹簧能量,使闸瓦压在车轮上产生制动作用。近年来,随着车辆制动装置的现代化,这种古老的制动方式,又重新得到了应用,目前多用来代替机车车辆的手制动装置,故又称之为驻车制动。
