根据我国民用航空发展“十二五”规划精神,我国民航将在2020年之前实现由民航大国向民航强国的历史性跨越,为此需要大力发展支线市场以汇聚客流,并重点培育北京、上海等一批具有较强竞争力的国际枢纽航空港。而北京市不论是从运输规模还是从其在国内、全球的地理位置来看,都是航线网络的重要节点和枢纽,拥有巨大的国际市场和潜在的周边地区需求。未来北京航空运输市场必将成为国内发展最快、最为重要、最具代表性的市场之一。因此,对北京航空运输市场的研究具有重要的现实意义。
