1998年7月2日,当时的美国总统克林顿访华,走进了广西桂林阳朔县兴坪镇渔村“袖珍脆骨女”赵春丽的家中。然而让赵春丽感到遗憾的是,她未能跟克林顿见面及合影。让她万万想不到的是,后来,一位美国“叔叔”得知她的病状及她身残志坚的故事后,千方百计要带她去美国治病,并于2001年初把她的情况告诉了克林顿。克林顿被赵春丽的精神感动了,给她及她的美国“叔叔”写了一封信,并给她寄来了一帧自己的亲笔签名照片,希望在美国能跟她见面。
On July 2, 1998, the then U.S. President Clinton’s visit to China entered the home of the fishing village of “Xingping Town, Yangshuo County, Guilin.” However, Zhao Chunli regretted that she failed to meet with Clinton and take a photo.
