不锈钢多数人购买日杂用品都喜欢买不锈钢制的,装饰品如表带等更喜欢买不锈钢表带,因为不锈钢制品不生锈。并且外观呈银白色,美丽典雅。其实这些被叫惯了的不锈钢制品,不是不锈钢制成的,而是不锈铁制成的,应该称为不锈铁。工业上根据铁中含碳量的不同,可分为生铁和工业纯铁两种。前者含碳量在2%以上,后者含碳是在0.04%以下。而含碳量在0.04%～2%之间的称为钢。真正的不锈钢应该是用钢,加入金属铬和镍,改变了原来金属钢的内部结构,使抗腐蚀的性能大大增强,基本上不会生锈。
