黄铁山1939年出生于湖南省洞口县。1959年毕业于湖北美术学院。中国美术家协会水彩画艺术委员会名誉主任、湖南省美术家协会名誉主席;享受国务院有突出贡献专家特殊津贴,现任研究馆员。主要作品《洞庭湖组画》、《金色伴晚秋》、《摩洛哥小镇》、《列维坦故乡》等为中国美术馆收藏。出版有《黄铁山水彩画集》、《黄铁山的水彩世界》、《中国当代水彩名家·黄铁山作品》等。作品除入选国内多部美术文献,并在《JCA世界美术年鉴》(日本)、《国际艺术家》(澳大利亚)、《水彩画艺术》
Huang Tieshan was born in 1939 in Dongkou County, Hunan Province. 1959 graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts. Honorary Director of Watercolor Art Committee of China Artists Association, honorary chairman of Hunan Artists Association; enjoy special allowance of State Council expert with outstanding contribution and current research librarian. The main works “Dongting Lake Group Painting”, “golden with late autumn”, “town of Morocco”, “Levitan hometown” for the Chinese art museum collection. He has published “Yellow Tieshan Watercolors Collection”, “Huang Tieshan’s Watercolor World” and “Chinese Contemporary Watercolor Master Huang Tieshan Works”. His works have been selected into many domestic art documents and published in the JCA World Art Yearbook (Japan), “International Artists” (Australia), “Watercolor Art”
