本刊副主编、湖南大学工程力学系教授王磊同志因病医治无效,不幸于1987年10月2日凌晨3时25分逝世,终年61岁。王磊同志1949年毕业于国立重庆大学土木工程系,50年代初期从事工程实践工作。1956年曾被评为武汉市甲等劳动模范。从1957年起在我国著名结构力学专家愈忽教授的指导下,在武汉水利电力学院攻读结构力学研究生。1962年到湖南大学任教,先后担任副教授、教授,湖南省力学学会和土木建筑学会理事,《计算结构力学及其应用》杂志编委,《工程
Wang Lei, associate editor of the journal, and Professor Wang Lei, a professor of engineering mechanics at Hunan University, died of unhealthy illness at 3:25 a.m. on October 2, 1987, and died at the age of 61. Comrade Wang Lei graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Chongqing University in 1949 and engaged in engineering practice in the early 1950s. In 1956 was named Wuhan A model workers.
