漳平二中创办于1980年9月,1995年通过省三级达标校验收,校园占地面积120亩,校舍面积24520m~2,绿地面积24210m~2。学校现有56个教学班(其中初中部32个班,高中部24个班),在校学生3200多人,在编教职工225人,其中专任教师207人。学校设有三处二室(政教处、教务处、总务处、办公室、教研室)。建校以来,学校全面贯彻党的教育方针,深化教育教学改革,积极推行素质教育。学校按照“抓科学管理,树模范师德。创文明‘三风’,建优美校园,育‘四有’新人”的总体目标和坚持“强化管理,优化‘三风’,深化改革,细化教研,美化校园”的办学方向。力促学校各项工作上新水平,
