宁夏引黄灌区位于西北高寒地区,年平均气温8～9℃,无霜期只有150天左右,由于地势高,气温低,生长期短,过去作物多为一年一热,部分地区有在春小麦成熟后复种一季小糜子或在小麦行间套种大豆的,产量也不高,一般两季产量不易超过千斤,所以有些人甚至认为宁夏灌区根本没有进行作物复种的条件。无产阶级文化大革命焕发了人民群众的革命干劲,推动了生产的发展。1969～1970年,吴忠县古城大队贫下中农和我所农业科技人员,在农业学大寨的革命群众运动中,发扬敢想
Due to the high topography, low temperature and short growing period, the past crop was mostly hot in one year and one year in some areas. The Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution glowed the people’s revolutionary drive and promoted the development of production. From 1969 to 1970, the poor middle peasants and our agricultural scientists and technicians in the ancient city battalion of Wuzhong County carried forward their ideas in the revolutionary mass movement in Dazhai Agriculture.
