《咬文嚼字》创刊于1995年,至今已经10年了。杂志的创办人、主编郝铭鉴写过一篇《十年感言》的文章,文中说《咬文嚼字》虽然10年了,但它“还是一株小草,还不敢和大树比肩”。但是广大读者读后却不同意这个说法,或写信或打电话来表示反对,说《咬文嚼字》通过10年的发展,已经得到了社会的承认、读者的认可,早就不是“小草”了。10年来,《咬文嚼字》确实取得了一些让读者满意的成绩:发行量突破20万册;杂志社被上海市语言文字工作委 “Bitten word” was first published in 1995, it has been 10 years.
