1983年我有机会作为考察组一员,赴美国学习、考察铸铁生产技术。在考察期间参观了12个铸铁厂。其中:属于大量生产的有雪弗兰汽车公司萨金诺灰铁厂(简称CSG厂,以下类同);属于大批生产的有约翰迪尔公司的东莫林球铁厂(DEM厂)、华特路“800”铸铁厂(DM—8厂)、华特路“M”铸铁厂(DW—M厂)、地培克铸铁厂(DD厂)、万国收割机公司的路易斯弗尔铸铁厂(IHL厂)及新荷兰农机公司铸铁车间(NHF厂)六个厂;属于小批量生产的有斯普劳特华德朗
In 1983 I had the opportunity to be a member of the inspection team, went to the United States to study and inspect the production technology of cast iron. During the visit visited 12 cast iron plants.
