A slurp of coffee is often one of the first things that touches our mouths in the morning, so a designer has created a cup lid with the shape of lips for people who love their morning coffee hit a little too much.
Jang WooSeok, from Sunchon, Korea, came up with what he calls “Coffee Lid : Take Kiss Out” as a fun but functional concept.
Speaking about the creation, the designer explained: “Different from the other coffee lids, which have a usual hole to put a straw or to drink directly. Take Kiss Out looks like a human face. Therefore, a coffee drinker experiences a visually funny and emotionally different coffee when drinking.”
Jang believes the lids will make the coffee lovers stand out. “Take Kiss Out coffee is a symbol of city culture and fashion. The shape of a lip is a distinctive style, thereby the combination will be fun,” he said of the eerily lifelike lip-shaped lid design.
Currently in its prototype form, Jang hopes a major coffee chain will adopt his lip-smacking design.
