语言习得关键期假说认为,人在特定阶段学习语言既轻松又快捷,过了这一阶段学习语言就变得越来越困难。此假说是否成立一直是语言学家争论的话题。本文从得失两方面介绍了关键期假说的各种理论和相关的实证研究以及对教学的正反影响,从而帮助我们更有效的利用关键期进行语言习得的研究。
The key period hypothesis of language acquisition holds that it is both easier and faster for a person to learn a language at a particular stage, and it becomes more difficult to learn a language after this stage. Whether this hypothesis holds or not has always been a topic of debate among linguists. In this paper, we introduce the theories and related empirical studies of the critical period hypothesis and the positive and negative influences on the teaching from the perspective of gain and loss, so as to help us make more effective use of the critical period for the study of language acquisition.
