This paper discusses the reflection waveform caused by the branch of the transmission line, the waveform distortion on the main line and the additional delay and the relationship between the branch length and the signal edge. It shows that the open branch can be regarded as a capacitive load when the branch of the transmission line is short. Equivalent to a capacitive load “short branch” condition is the branch length δl ≤ t_r / 5τ_0, which just coincides with the capacitor “light load” conditions; derive a number of “short branch” of the formula; shows a large Board floor signal transmission in the branch restrictions.
