Background: In recent years, athletes, especially elite athletes training has begun to use sports science technology. However, sports science is a broad area that includes biomechanics, motor control and learning, exercise physiology, sports medicine, and sports psychology. However, these disciplines rarely integrate with each other. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the interdisciplinary approach of integrating biomechanics and motor control to increasing the level of athlete jumps. Method: First, four high-level athletes were taken as a control when they jumped high during normal conditions and then intervened by adding a specific external cue to improve their running posture during the high jump. Using 3D Biomechanical Analysis to Quantify the Horizontal Velocity and the Vertical Velocity during Take-Off in Upright Posture. Results: When using an external cue to intervene, the high jumper has a more positive stance during the run and significantly increases both horizontal and vertical speeds during take-off. Conclusion: The results of this study laid the foundation for the future integration of sports science disciplines to improve the level of elite athletes.
