The pharmaceutical industry is recognized as an internationalized industry in the world. Among the 28 industries classified according to international standards, medicine is one of the 15 products with the largest international exchange volume. The annual foreign trade surplus of pharmaceuticals in several major developed countries in the world is between tens and billions of dollars.
