Microstrip DC blocking circuits are quite useful at microwave frequencies to replace lumped capacitors, especially in designs such as oscillator circuits. This kind of circuit has already been introduced in the literature, they used the experimental design method to get the broadband such as ripple performance. Recently, the literature attempts to make a theoretical analysis of this circuit as a coupled end and a three decibel directional coupler open both ends, and predicts the maximum flatness. This article is based on the well-known Chebyshev transform loss specification
