天然气中含汞十分普遍,部分天然气藏汞含量较高、变化范围大。天然气中汞的赋存对油气加工及自然环境有较大的危害。对国内外天然气中汞含量的数据统计显示,源岩母质类型决定汞含量,煤型气中汞含量普遍高于油型气汞含量;而部分含油气盆地油型气汞含量较高,这主要与深大断裂的发育、岩浆活动和深部地质过程有关。天然气中汞的成因分为有机和无机两种成因,并且不同的成因机制决定天然气中汞含量的差异。
